What the Tinteán Theatre is all about
The Tinteán Theatre, Ballybunion is a purpose built 550 seat venue that caters for the needs of both local, national and international performance, groups, companies, organisations and artists who wish to present performances to the people of North Kerry. It is both a receiving and production house producing its own Irish Dance Shows that have toured the World under the Ceol Chiarrai Productions banner.
The Theatre is owned by a registered Charitable organisation; North Kerry, Arts, Cultural & Heritage Society Ltd.

Tinteán Theatre, Arts and Cultural Centre
The Tinteán Theatre Mission is to operate a purpose built performance venue with Live Performance and contemporary Irish dance as its core. The Tinteán Theatre also caters for conferences and arranges accommodation packages for delegates.

Productions and Performances
The Tinteán Theatre presents productions in all performance genres both from in-house and touring theatre companies. The theatre also has a cinema facility, art exhibition spaces, literary bookshop, bar and coffee dock. A stage school, art-house cinema club and themed week-ends feature at the venue.
